As they continue to strengthen their presence across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, they are looking for a highly capable and strategic Regional Financial Controller to join their regional leadership team.

The Rol
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - APAC, you will play a critical role in supporting, monitoring, and ensuring statutory compliance and risk policy adherence across all APAC markets. You will act as the key bridge between the Group Finance team, local finance teams, and external auditors, ensuring absolute integrity and timeliness of financial reporting and statutory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit & Statutory Compliance:
- Take full ownership of planning, executing, and finalizing both Group and local statutory audits across the APAC region.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Group auditors and the Group Finance team to meet all critical audit deliverables.
- Collaborate hands-on with local finance teams for data collection, analytical reviews, and the drafting/finalization of audited reports.
- Partner with Group Legal, Corporate Secretarial, and Tax divisions to complete required company filings and tax returns accurately.
- Financial Reporting & Reconciliations:
- Prepare clear and accurate reconciliations of management results to audited accounts, providing detailed explanations for any reconciling transactions.
- Track, review, and reconcile audit adjustments posted into the monthly reporting results.
- Technical Accounting & Policy Implementation:
- Review and implement the latest accounting standards (IFRS and local GAAP), as well as group policies and procedures.
- Monitor and interpret emerging technical accounting issues and assess their strategic implications on the APAC region.
- Assist in developing appropriate financial statement disclosures.
- Risk Management & Corporate Governance:
- Champion and deploy the Group’s risk management processes and procedures to ensure continuous compliance.
- Work closely with Group Legal on Corporate Secretary-related matters, including dividend payments, leases, and other corporate governance activities.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Mentor, guide, and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
Key Requirements
- Education & Qualifications: Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting. A professional Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, etc.) qualification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in a regional financial controllership or similar capacity. Background in the advertising industry is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- High proficiency in IFRS and regional local GAAP.
- Strong fundamental understanding of regional taxation frameworks, risk management, and internal control systems.
- Attributes:
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to review large datasets, identify inconsistencies, and present data in an easy-to-understand format.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to structure efforts to meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Highly adaptable, team-oriented, and resilient.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
