the job

• Define and execute the company’s quality strategy, establishing KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting insights to drive an organization-wide culture of quality excellence.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, regulatory requirements, and customer standards.
• Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished product specifications, ensuring laboratory testing accuracy, equipment calibration, and strict inspection standards.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies to optimize process capabilities, minimize variability, and reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
• Lead structured root-cause analysis and data-driven continuous improvement initiatives to decrease defects, waste, scrap, and operational rework across production lines.
• Plan and manage all internal, customer, certification body, and regulatory audits, ensuring timely closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Production, Technical, Supply Chain) to support new product introductions, process validations, and commercial scale-up activities.
• Lead, mentor, and build technical competencies within the QA/QC teams, establishing clear KPIs, succession planning, and performance management systems.

the experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Rubber, Polymer, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• At least 8 years of QA/QC leadership experience in chemical, rubber, polymer, or related industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Comprehensive mastery of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 audit and compliance standards.
