We are seeking a Senior SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) BI Consultant / Business Analyst to support enterprise reporting transformation initiatives, with a key focus on migrating reporting solutions from SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). In addition to strong technical delivery capability, the ideal candidate should also possess solid Business Analyst (BA) skills to drive requirement gathering, solution alignment, and user adoption.
1. SAC BI Solution Delivery
- Design, develop, and optimize reports, dashboards, and stories in SAC for enterprise reporting needs.
- Participate in and support the migration of legacy reports from BOBJ to SAC BI.
- Analyze existing BOBJ reports and map them into SAC reporting structures while ensuring
- reporting consistency, usability, and performance.
- Build and maintain SAC models and reporting solutions using SAP BW as the primary source system.
- Ensure proper data connectivity, model design, report validation, and performance optimization within the SAC-BW landscape.
- Collaborate with data, BW, and SAP teams to ensure data accuracy, availability, and alignment with reporting requirements.
- Support testing activities, including system integration testing, UAT, reconciliation, and production deployment.
- Create technical and functional documentation related to report migration, solution design, and user guidance.
2. Business Analysis / Functional Consulting
● Work directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, and planning requirements.
● Conduct:
o Requirement gathering workshops
o Business process analysis
o Gap analysis
o Functional design sessions
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and actionable technical
- designs.
- Advise stakeholders on KPI frameworks, reporting standards, dashboard structures, and planning models.
- Act as a liaison between business users, project managers, and technical teams to ensure alignment on scope and deliverables.
- Support UAT, user training, change requests, and post-implementation enhancements.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve business processes and reporting capabilities through SAC.
3. Leadership & Project Contribution
- Lead SAC workstreams or take ownership of assigned solution areas in project delivery.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
- Contribute to solution architecture discussions and best practices for SAC implementation.
- Support effort estimation, delivery planning, and risk/issue management.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
- Contribute to best practices for BOBJ-to-SAC migration and enterprise reporting transformation

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze existing BOBJ reports, understand reporting requirements, and design scalable SAC BI solutions using SAP BW as the primary data source.
