about the job
In this key standalone recruitment role, you will lead end-to-end Talent Acquisition initiatives for the Malaysia operations, driving headcount fulfillment across both project engineering and ongoing operational facilities management teams.
- Manage full end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle workflows, including candidate sourcing, screening, technical interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding alignment.
- Build, engage, and maintain talent pipelines for niche, critical engineering and technical roles across industrial construction, engineering, and operational environments.
- Act as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers and business leaders, providing guidance on recruitment market trends, talent availability, and intake alignment.
- Oversee and manage external recruitment agencies and search firm relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective hiring fulfillment.
- Drive direct sourcing strategies using professional networks, talent mapping, competitor analysis, and talent communities.
- Ensure strict compliance with local labor regulations and company recruitment policies while maintaining accurate records within ATS and recruitment systems.
about the requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- 6 to 10 years of dedicated Talent Acquisition experience, with a proven track record operating with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strictly required background in the Construction, Engineering, or Manufacturing sectors; exposure spanning both construction and manufacturing will be highly advantageous.
- Strong track record of career stability and candidate retention.
- Ideal candidate will be based in Penang; however, they are open to accommodate KL-based talent operating out of their Kuala Lumpur office for the right professional alignment.
