About the RoleAs an SEO Lead, you will take ownership of organic search and growth initiatives across the company’s global platform. Reporting directly to the Co-Founder/CTO, optimise existing traffic opportunities, and solve high-impact technical challenges to scale the company’s digital presence.
This role offers the opportunity to build and shape SEO capabilities within a fast-growing global platform, with the potential to develop and lead a team in the future. This is a fully remote and flexible position suited for a proactive SEO professional who enjoys building, experimenting, and driving measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities- SEO Strategy & Leadership: Develop, own, and execute the company’s comprehensive global SEO roadmap (technical, on-page, off-page, and international search) to multi-fold our internet presence.
- Technical SEO: Conduct regular audits to optimize crawlability, indexation, URL architectures, Core Web Vitals, and structured schema markup for large-scale, dynamically generated pages.
- Programmatic SEO & Scalable Growth: Design and deploy automated, scalable landing page frameworks and programmatic SEO strategies utilizing code and data to effectively capture high-intent search demand across millions of listings.
- Content & On-Page Optimization: Manage keyword clustering, search intent mapping, and topical authority across all core e-commerce marketplace categories.
- Off-Page Authority: Build white-hat link strategies, manage outreach, and drive digital P.R. and entity SEO to elevate domain trust.
- Analytics & Performance Standards: Establish standard workflows, SOPs, and advanced reporting dashboards using Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush to monitor key conversion growth metrics.
- AI Integration: Actively leverage and deploy emerging AI search capabilities (AEO/GEO) to future-proof organic discovery pathways.
- Experience: Over 5 years of deep technical SEO experience managing large-scale platforms, marketplaces, or e-commerce sites driving massive monthly user traffic (exposure to international multi-country site structures is essential).
- Technical Excellence: Strong proficiency in Programmatic SEO frameworks, data tracking setups (UTM tagging, Pixels, Conversion APIs), and leading SEO audit software (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, GTM).
- Mindset & Soft Skills: Highly analytical, data-driven, and a self-starter comfortable wearing multiple hats in a lean, high-pressure startup ecosystem. Excellent communication skills with a direct, professional, and no-nonsense attitude.
- Industry Bonus: A background or passion for gaming, e-commerce networks, or understanding how virtual items are transacted globally is a major plus.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
