About the Role
The SEO Specialist is a vital member of the Digital Marketing team, managing the full funnel from technical foundations to GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation). This is a highly "hands-on" role where you are not just managing vendors, but actively executing on-page and off-page strategies.
We are seeking a revenue-driven marketer who understands that SEO is not just about traffic volume, but about generating a high-quality pipeline and capturing high-intent demand to drive the company’s bottom line.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Funnel Search Strategy: Develop and execute a search strategy covering traditional SEO and GEO for AI-driven platforms.
- High-Intent Demand Capture: Focus on capturing decision-stage intent to ensure organic channels contribute meaningfully to the sales pipeline.
- Content & GEO Optimisation: Partner with content creators to optimize for featured snippets and AI citations, ensuring all output aligns with E-E-A-T principles.
- Technical & On-Page Execution: Conduct hands-on audits and implementations regarding site structure, page performance, and crawlability.
- Growth Testing: Maintain a proactive "testing" mindset—identifying new opportunities for organic growth and executing experimental strategies to stay ahead of search trends.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor traffic quality and keyword rankings with a strict focus on conversion and revenue contribution.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in SEO or search-focused roles, with strong preference for agency backgrounds due to the need for a hands-on, agile, and execution-driven approach.
- Mindset: Strong focus on revenue impact and business outcomes, with clear emphasis on driving pipeline growth rather than purely tracking vanity metrics.
- Culture Fit: High resilience and a growth-oriented mindset, with comfort in fast-paced environments that require continuous testing, learning, and quick pivots.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in keyword research, search intent mapping, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.
- Innovation: Familiarity with AI-powered search ecosystems and emerging GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) practices is highly valued.
- Background Note: Preference for agile, hands-on professionals. Candidates primarily from large-scale e-commerce conglomerates or heavily structured corporate environments may find the pace and operational style less suitable.
