About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Trade Marketing Manager to drive commercial growth, optimize channel profitability, and expand product distribution. Serving as the vital link between brand strategy and store-level execution, you will transform localized shopper insights into actionable commercial plans. This role is crucial for maximizing portfolio visibility and driving sustainable volume and value growth across key retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Activation Leadership: Lead the development and execution of tailored channel activations and merchandising solutions in close collaboration with brand, category, and field sales teams.
Insight Transformation: Identify commercial gaps by synthesizing localized and global shopper insights, translating consumer behavior data into strategic commercial opportunities.
Commercial Strategy: Formulate comprehensive business recommendations and persuasive commercial pitches based on market growth drivers, consumer consumption trends, and competitive activities.
Go-to-Market Execution: Design and implement product launch materials, core commercial frameworks, and effective point-of-sale visibility tools customized for specific retail environments.
Field Alignment: Partner with category and retail environment teams to establish in-store visibility targets, ensuring commercial execution plans are clearly communicated to field operations for flawless delivery.
Performance & ROI Tracking: Evaluate the financial return on investment (ROI) for trade initiatives, monitoring commercial performance metrics to refine and optimize localized retail tactics.
Market Intelligence: Continuously track competitive trade strategies, promotional activities, and new product launches within the market to maintain category competitiveness.
Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related commercial discipline.
FMCG Experience: Proven brand management, trade marketing, or commercial development experience strictly within the FMCG sector, ideally within an international corporate environment.
Analytical Capability: Strong commercial acumen with a track record of utilizing market trends, consumption data, and financial ROI tracking to guide business decisions.
Stakeholder Impact: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal units and external retail partners.
Strategic Execution: Hands-on experience creating product pitch presentations, point-of-sale strategies, and tailored commercial plans across diverse retail formats.
