The Opportunity
As the Group enters its next phase of corporate revitalization, Randstad is seeking a visionary, agile, and high-impact Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is not a traditional operational maintenance role. We are looking for a heavy-hitting financial strategist who thrives in high-stakes environments, possesses a deep track record in debt refinancing, capital reduction schemes, and corporate restructuring.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Transformation & Strategy: Architect, lead, and execute the Group's comprehensive financial turnaround strategy, focusing on capital rationalization and liquidity optimization.
Refinancing & Debt Management: Drive strategic negotiations with financial institutions, creditors, and stakeholders to restructure existing credit facilities, lower borrowing costs, and secure competitive financing terms.
Capital Optimization: Formulate and manage corporate exercises such as capital reductions, private placements, and asset monetization strategies to eliminate accumulated losses and strengthen the statement of financial position.
Requirements
Turnaround Expertise: Demonstrated success in executing corporate restructuring, capital reductions, debt restructuring, and complex refinancing exercises. Experience in the hospitality or property development sectors is highly advantageous.
Regulatory Acumen: Authoritative knowledge of Malaysian corporate laws, tax regulations, and Bursa Malaysia compliance frameworks.
Leadership Style: Exceptional negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and the resilience required to guide an organization through a significant transitional phase.
