About the Job
- End-to-End Project Management: Lead customized booth projects from initial client briefing, design development, and quoting through to production, onsite setup, and dismantling.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the central communication bridge between clients, internal design and operations teams, vendors, and official site contractors.
- Commercial & Budget Control: Prepare detailed quotations, oversee vendor negotiations, monitor project profitability, and manage variation orders (VOs).
- Onsite Execution & Troubleshooting: Oversee site recce, build-up, and dismantle operations, resolving onsite issues quickly and professionally to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Regional Standards Delivery: Ensure all custom booth designs are practical, safe, buildable, and aligned with client budgets across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Skills and Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in the exhibition or custom booth industry, with a track record of handling complex projects independently.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of exhibition booth workflows, fabrication, production processes, and site logistics.
- Project & Time Management: Strong ability to multitask, manage budgets, and successfully run multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client expectations, lead vendor negotiations, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
- Professional Mindset: Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
