The Export Manager will be a pivotal revenue driver during this exciting pre-IPO scaling phase. Your primary mandate is to identify, negotiate, and establish new international distribution networks for the company's premium fresh fruit portfolio across key global markets.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this role offers tremendous strategic autonomy. You will serve as the chief architect of the company’s global trade division, building an international pipeline from scratch while positioning the brand to capture maximum global market share.
Job Description:
Identify and penetrate new overseas markets (including North Asia, Middle East, Europe, and ASEAN) to secure contracts with international wholesalers, supermarket chains, and distributors.
Partner closely with executive leadership to define export pricing models, international market-entry frameworks, and volume forecasting aligned with corporate valuation targets.
Coordinate with production and logistics teams to guarantee strict compliance with cold-chain management, preserving fresh fruit quality and minimising transit damage.
Navigate international phytosanitary certifications, food safety protocols, custom clearance regulations, and import/export documentation unique to each target destination.
Formulate and execute robust Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with overseas partners, conducting regular performance reviews to drive consistent volume growth.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Marketing, or an equivalent field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Export Sales or International Business Development, with a background preference handling Fresh Produce, Fruits, or Perishable FMCG goods.
Proven expertise navigating cold-chain logistics, international customs clearance, and global agricultural regulations.
An entrepreneurial, highly resilient mindset with the financial acumen to manage multi-currency trade margins, freight costs, and profitability.
