The Finance Transition & Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting finance readiness and operational continuity during the ERP deployment across Malaysia and Singapore. The role works closely with finance SMEs to ensure accurate transaction processing, data readiness, and alignment with new system processes, while taking over selected day-to-day finance operations. By coordinating testing, supporting cutover preparation, and assisting with issue resolution during go-live and hypercare, the role helps ensure compliance, financial integrity, and minimal disruption to finance operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Finance Operations & BAU Support
- Provide hands-on support to day-to-day finance operations, including areas such as accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Take over selected operational finance activities to ensure continuity while SMEs are engaged in ERP deployment work.
- Support resolution of operational issues and ensure service levels are maintained during the transition period.
Data Preparation & Validation
- Support end-to-end finance readiness activities across GTM finance, controllership, and operational finance processes.
- Coordinate with finance, commercial, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to track readiness milestones and dependencies.
- Maintain trackers, action logs, and risk registers to monitor progress and ensure timely follow-up.
- Support preparation and execution of finance test scenarios, including Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.
Cutover Planning & Execution
- Support finance cutover activities, including tracking closure of open transactions such as invoices, credit notes, payments, and purchase orders.
- Assist in ensuring clean financial cutover by validating balances, reconciliations, and transaction completeness.
- Support coordination of key finance activities during system downtime and transition periods.
Hypercare & Issue Resolution
- Support finance operations during hypercare, including monitoring transactional flows and identifying issues in invoicing, payments, or reporting.
- Assist in triaging and resolving finance-related system and process issues in collaboration with SMEs and IT teams.
- Escalate critical issues impacting financial integrity or compliance.
Change Agent
- Support communication and adoption of new finance processes and system changes to business users.
- Assist in preparing process documentation, training materials, and user support guides.
- Reinforce new ways of working in collaboration with the Market Change & Communications team.
- Maintain dashboards and trackers to monitor finance readiness, risks, and key milestones.
- Provide timely updates for governance forums and deployment reviews.
- Proactively identify risks, delays, and dependencies, and support mitigation actions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or equivalent experience is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or commercial finance roles.
- Experience in areas of Accounts receivable/ payables, credit management or financial reporting (FP&A)
- Exposure to Order-to-Cash (O2C) and/or Procure-to-Pay (P2P/S2P) processes.
- Experience supporting ERP/system implementations or finance transformation projects is preferred.
- Experience in FMCG or fast-paced business environments is an advantage.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of finance processes, including invoicing, collections, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Familiarity with financial controls, compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Experience with ERP systems (eERP.g., SAP) is preferred.
- Familiarity with reporting tools and financial systems is an advantage.
