about the role
- Oversee full-spectrum human resources operations and administration for the regional plant, managing local teams, manpower planning, and worker hostel facilities.
- Develop and maintain HR information systems, salary administration programs, and competitive compensation and benefits frameworks aligned with industry trends.
- Formulate and enforce company policies regarding equal employment opportunities, statutory compliance, and federal and state employment regulations.
- Provide strategic advisory to top management on employee relations, dispute resolutions, domestic inquiries, and collective bargaining or industrial relations matters.
- Administer annual performance review cycles, department budgeting, and workforce analytics to implement procedures for reducing turnover and absenteeism.
- Manage external service providers and vendors, including search firms, temporary staffing agencies, and third-party operational service contractors.
about the requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably within a large-scale manufacturing plant environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, Employment Act, and formal investigation procedures.
- Strong leadership, consultative, and problem-solving abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven capability in managing plant-level operations, statutory audits, foreign worker management, and payroll execution.
