As a Regional Payroll Specialist (Hong Kong Focus) in Chubb's APAC HR Shared Services team, you will take ownership of end-to-end payroll validation, statutory compliance, and vendor coordination for the Hong Kong market.
- Work Setup: Hybrid (4 days office / 1 day WFH)
- Location: Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate, review, and validate country payroll inputs in coordination with local HR and payroll vendors.
- Ensure full compliance with Hong Kong statutory requirements, including MPF (Mandatory Provident Fund) contribution logic and ceilings.
- Oversee Hong Kong statutory tax reporting, including the IR56 series (IR56B, IR56E, IR56F, IR56G) and tax clearance procedures.
- Apply manual calculation logic for the 713 Ordinance (Average Daily Wage - ADW) across statutory leave, sickness allowance, and final settlements.
- Leverage Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to generate monthly payroll reconciliation reports, audit vendor output registers, and identify variances.
- Navigate HR database engines (MyHR, SQL) and manage internal employee payroll tickets to resolve inquiries promptly.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance and external vendors to execute on-time payouts and precise accounting journal entries.
- Identify workflow improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and support regional APAC HR transformation initiatives.
