About the Opportunity
An established regional technology solutions provider is looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Manager – Application & Data Security to join its growing cybersecurity team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong presales professional who enjoys working with enterprise customers, channel partners, and leading cybersecurity vendors to design and position innovative security solutions.
You will play a key role in supporting the sales team by translating customer requirements into practical, business-driven security solutions while driving technical engagements throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop deep technical expertise across the assigned cybersecurity product portfolio.
- Design solution architectures, prepare High-Level Designs (HLDs), Bills of Materials (BoMs), and technical proposals.
- Lead technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, tenders, and customer solution presentations.
- Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, workshops, and technical consultations.
- Manage end-to-end Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements, including planning, execution, validation, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with technology vendors and principal solution architects to ensure solution accuracy and alignment with best practices.
- Translate technical capabilities into clear business value, addressing customer requirements, ROI, scalability, and security challenges.
- Deliver technical enablement and product training for partners, resellers, and internal teams.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive solutions to strengthen solution positioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of presales experience within the IT or cybersecurity industry.
- Proven experience designing technical solutions, HLDs, BoMs, and preparing security proposals.
- Hands-on experience conducting technical demonstrations, PoCs, and responding to RFx opportunities.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application security, data security, and cybersecurity technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to align solutions to customer budgets and business outcomes.
- Vendor certifications in cybersecurity technologies will be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
