About the Job
The Product Planning Manager serves as the primary architect of the brand's vehicle roadmap and a key guardian of its regional commercial success. In this highly strategic role, you will independently navigate the complexities of the marketing mix—integrating product specifications, localized pricing, placement networks, and promotional readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute data-driven product roadmaps by aligning emerging automotive market trends with long-term corporate strategy.
- Optimize the full marketing 4Ps to ensure product positioning, lifecycle margins, and localized value propositions maximize market share.
- Conduct independent market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and consumer insight analysis to pinpoint critical growth gaps.
- Orchestrate the end-to-end product lifecycle seamlessly from initial conceptualization and launch readiness to vehicle phase-out.
- Serve as the central cross-functional leader to align engineering, supply chain, and sales departments ahead of major product milestones.
- Monitor complex portfolio KPIs, including profit and loss performance, regulatory compliance, and principal partner agreements.
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Strategic Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or an equivalent academic field.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in product planning, product management, or brand strategy.
- Demonstrated experience within the automotive sector, with a strong preference for New Energy Vehicle (NEV) or EV exposure.
- Exceptional analytical capability with a proven track record of converting complex market data into actionable management proposals.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, financial tracking, and creating executive-ready reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
