This strategic commercial role focuses on accelerating market penetration for a premium specialized automotive equipment line across Malaysia and Brunei. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will bridge the gap between advanced workshop technology and service center owners to maximize efficiency and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and market penetration for specialized wheel alignment systems and balancing equipment as a primary commercial priority.
- Manage and position a comprehensive premium portfolio featuring advanced diagnostic tools, heavy-duty vehicle lifting systems, and professional hand tools.
- Target and penetrate independent car workshops, authorized service networks, and regional distributors to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct high-impact, hands-on site visits and technical demonstrations to showcase efficiency gains directly to workshop managers.
- Deliver consultative after-sales support to monitor machine calibration, maintain equipment longevity, and secure long-term client retention.
- Coordinate with internal service and engineering teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery, machinery installation, and client onboarding.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive success in technical sales, corporate account management, or specialized after-sales support.
- Deep foundational experience within a professional automotive workshop environment, including spare parts, servicing, or workshop management.
- Thorough understanding of modern garage operations with the natural ability to build rapport and speak the language of technicians.
- Highly articulate presenter capable of delivering confident, technical, and hands-on equipment demonstrations to business owners.
- Self-motivated and energetic professional with a disciplined approach to managing regional pipelines and traveling across assigned territories.
