about the job

Based in the East Coast territory, you will be the key commercial driver for the General Trade (GT) channel (including wholesalers, independent grocers, and mini-markets). Your primary focus will be to manage distributor operations, secure product visibility, and aggressively expand the distribution network for their fast-moving personal and hygiene care portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

Territory Management: Manage and expand the sales distribution network across the East Coast region.
Distributor Management: Oversee and partner with third-party distributors to ensure optimal route-to-market execution, stock availability, and accurate inventory forecasting.
Sales Volume Growth: Drive monthly and quarterly sales targets for high-volume product categories, including baby care, personal care, and hygiene products.
In-Store Execution & Visibility: Work closely with distributors and retailers to secure prime shelf space, manage stock rotation, and execute impactful trade promotions at the store level.
Market Mapping: Identify untapped sub-wholesalers and retail outlets within the territory to continuously grow the brand's numeric distribution.

requirements

Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience within the FMCG sector, specifically managing the General Trade channel.
Strong background selling personal care, hygiene care, baby care, or paper/tissue products is highly preferred.
Deep knowledge of the East Coast market dynamics, retail culture, and existing relationships with local distributors and wholesalers in the territory.
Strong hands-on approach to field sales, distributor coaching, and tracking on-ground commercial performance.
