About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on and results-oriented Assistant Brand Manager to drive the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing initiatives for an established Coffee category. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day brand management, lead integrated campaigns from concept to rollout, monitor commercial performance, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and executing annual and tactical marketing plans for the assigned Coffee portfolio.
- Drive day-to-day brand management operations and ensure timely, seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute integrated $360^{\circ}$ marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, consumer activations, and agency/P.R. partners.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) processes, including consumer/market assessment, concept development, packaging, pricing, launch planning, and go-to-market execution.
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Development teams to design channel- and customer-specific activities that enhance brand visibility, trial, distribution, and sell-through.
- Prepare comprehensive brand performance reports, campaign reviews, management presentations, and post-campaign evaluations.
- Monitor marketing expenditures and assist in managing the overall A&P budget against approved business plans.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience in the FMCG industry or equivalent consumer goods sector.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Familiarity or working experience with Nielsen / NIQ market data and retail measurement reports is an added advantage.
- Good command of both written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong project management abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple timelines and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
