A strategic regional territory role focused on accelerating B2B tool and equipment sales by managing and expanding industrial stockist and retail distributor networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Map out, onboard, and manage regional industrial stockists and hardware distribution channels within the designated territory.
- Drive sales targets across a diverse range of hand tools, power tools, and industrial maintenance gear.
- Negotiate commercial terms, stocking requirements, and promotional displays with retail and wholesale stockists.
- Identify emerging supply chain opportunities in localized sectors, including regional oil & gas or engineering clusters.
- Provide accurate regional market intelligence, competitor pricing trends, and sales forecasts to the leadership team.
Skills & Experience Required
- At least 3 years of business development or channel sales experience handling industrial tools, hardware, or heavy equipment.
- Proven experience managing or selling directly to regional stockists, industrial retail networks, or oil & gas contractors.
- Strong commercial acumen with an ability to manage long-term distributor relationships independently.
- Self-disciplined and capable of achieving sales targets under minimal local supervision.
- Deep geographic knowledge and active business networks within the target regional market (Penang or East Malaysia).
