about the job
- Enterprise Business Development: Originate, build, and execute growth strategies to secure prepaid connectivity, employee mobility, and digital solutions with corporate organisations, SMEs, GLCs, government agencies, and educational institutions.
- Commercial Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead the complete contract lifecycle & structuring high-value commercial agreements that maximise profitability, mitigating commercial risks, and coordinating closely with Legal and Finance teams.
- Key Account Management: Serve as the primary commercial contact for strategic Modern Trade partners, developing annual business plans, monitoring partner KPIs, and driving cross-selling or joint marketing initiatives.
- Pipeline & Performance Management: Maintain a healthy B2B sales pipeline, optimise opportunity conversion rates, and present data-backed business cases and revenue forecasts to Senior Management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Product, Marketing, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to build, onboard, and execute integrated enterprise solutions successfully.
- Special Projects Support: Lend your commercial expertise to company-wide strategic initiatives, evaluating new market opportunities, strategic alliances, distribution channels, and business feasibility studies.

about the requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a strong advantage.
- Experience: 8–12 years of professional experience in Business Development, Commercial Management, Strategic Partnerships, or Key Account Management.
- Segment Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing Modern Trade, Retail Chains, or B2B commercial partnerships.
- Industry Focus: Proven experience within Telecommunications, FMCG, Consumer Products, Financial Services, or Digital Services is highly preferred.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong exposure to prepaid products, retail distribution networks, dealer management, or channel development is highly advantageous.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in structuring/negotiating high-value commercial agreements and consistently achieving aggressive revenue targets while working with C-suite executives.
