the role
- Take full accountability for driving profitable volume growth, category expansion, and annual sales targets across assigned pharmacy accounts.
- Develop, negotiate, and execute high-impact Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key retail partners to secure sustainable long-term business growth.
- Plan, manage, and audit A&P and trade spend budgets, ensuring financial discipline, optimal margin retention, and maximum ROI.
- Lead comprehensive commercial negotiations covering trading terms, promotional mechanics, new product listings, and premium in-store shelf visibility.
- Conduct rigorous business reviews, sales forecasting, performance tracking, and gap analyses to address stock flow or operational hurdles proactively.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Consumer Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams, to ensure flawless in-store execution.
the experience
- Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of fmcg key account management experience.
- Experience managing retail chain pharmacies like Guardian, Watsons, or Big Caring Group is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in A&P trade spend management, complex commercial negotiations, and multi-category business planning.
