This relationship-centric position is specifically designed for a strategic professional who excels at high-touch account management and technical consulting over transactional sales. You will serve as the primary engineering liaison for an established portfolio of industry-leading semiconductor manufacturers, balancing production forecasts with material solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated commercial partner and primary contact for an established, elite portfolio of semiconductor manufacturing clients.
- Act as the vital technical bridge for client R&D engineers and procurement teams to seamlessly resolve ongoing inquiries and application challenges.
- Dedicate 80% of operational focus to deep account servicing and relationship retention, with 20% aimed at introducing product innovations to current partners.
- Formulate data-driven sales and material supply plans aligned closely with customer production schedules and market forecasts.
- Coordinate with regional manufacturing and corporate stakeholders in Singapore and Japan for strategic reviews and advanced product training.
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or an equivalent technical discipline to establish strong on-site credibility.
- Professional exposure to the semiconductor manufacturing, electronics assembly, or high-end industrial materials market is highly advantageous.
- Highly collaborative mindset with a strong preference for consultative account farming and long-term relationship cultivation.
- Openness to welcoming ambitious fresh engineering graduates possessing strong communication skills and a desire for corporate account management.
- Full flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across Malaysia and internationally to Singapore and Japan for training and client reviews.
