about the job
In this key operational role, you will support day-to-day HR operations and provide comprehensive support to employees and business units, while assisting leadership in HR transformation and digitalization initiatives.
- Manage daily HR operations, including employee records, on-boarding, probation confirmations, transfers, and off-boarding workflows.
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, candidate sourcing, and interview scheduling for both white-collar and blue-collar positions.
- Provide HR advisory to employees and line managers while assisting in handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and counseling.
- Support monthly payroll administration, attendance tracking, leave processing, and statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp).
- Coordinate internal and external training programs, maintain employee training logs, and process HRD Corp grant applications.
- Assist in HR transformation projects, HRIS system implementation, and process automation to optimize workflows.
about the requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
- Proven background in HR generalist operations, preferably within a manufacturing or high-tech operational environment.
- Sound knowledge of local labor legislation (Malaysia Employment Act), statutory compliance standards, and payroll processes.
- Experience managing both white-collar professional staff and blue-collar plant workers is an advantage.
- Practical experience or involvement with HRIS/HRMS tools and HR process digitalization projects is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with an ability to work independently.
