About the Job
This role focuses on developing sales accounts and building technical ingredient solutions for food processing and beverage manufacturers. You will manage supply logistics, introduce specialized ingredients, and build lasting relationships with key commercial kitchens and manufacturing plants.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain current customer accounts while identifying new commercial opportunities across the food and nutrition market.
Manage customer orders, monitor credit lines, and enforce on-time collections to mitigate financial risk.
Provide consultative ingredient suggestions and cost calculations to prospective manufacturing clients.
Coordinate cross-border trade logistics and monitor stock levels to ensure uninterrupted supply lines.
Host client networking sessions and business dinners to build long-term commercial relationships.
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in technical sales, ingredient distribution, or business development within the food sector.
- Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, applications, and formulation basics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle diverse corporate accounts.
- Comfortable traveling to visit customer facilities and participating in client entertainment.
