This pivotal role is designed to bridge the gap between architectural concept and structural reality. As a Specification Specialist, you will drive the company’s growth by ensuring our specialized building solutions are embedded into project blueprints from the very beginning.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive comprehensive specification activities across the Central region to secure product inclusion in upcoming construction projects.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with architects, quantity surveyors, developers, and consultants.
- Conduct technical presentations and product briefings to influence design and purchasing decisions.
- Deliver accurate roof technical calculations and structural engineering support for client proposals.
- Collaborate closely with the internal technical and sales teams to align project specifications with client needs.
- Identify and track upcoming projects at the early planning and design stages.
- Provide regular updates on market trends, competitor movements, and project pipelines to the management.
Skills & Experience Required
- A diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the building materials, roofing, or construction sector is highly advantageous.
- Prior experience in technical pre-sales, specification writing, or architectural liaison is preferred.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand architectural drawings and perform technical calculations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with professional consultants.
