We are currently looking for an experienced Key Account Manager for a global beauty conglomerate known for its iconic self-selection cosmetics and skincare brands. This role takes end-to-end commercial ownership of the group’s key Modern Trade pharmacy and beauty retail accounts across Malaysia, and requires your urgent attention.

- Take full commercial ownership of a market-leading beauty cosmetics portfolio, spearhead joint business planning with top national beauty retailers, and elevate your career through high-visibility leadership and direct mentorship from executive management.
the role
- Take total commercial ownership of national retail pharmacy, beauty, and specialty chains - with primary accountability for driving growth, JBP, and QBR leadership for Watsons alongside accounts like SaSa, Alpro, Ainz & Tulpe, and Matsumoto Kiyoshi.
- Lead Annual Trading Terms (TTA) negotiations, managing margin structures, rebates, listing fees, promotional funding, and payment terms to maximize account profitability.
- Drive accurate sell-in and sell-out sales forecasting, promo forecasting, and inventory alignment with demand planning to ensure healthy stock levels and eliminate out-of-stock (OOS) hotspots.
- Plan, execute, and reconcile trade marketing promotions, managing trade spend budgets while evaluating campaign ROI and establishing corrective action plans.
- Oversee self-selection beauty execution, planogram compliance, store audits, and frontline visual merchandising (VMD) operations to maximize in-store visibility and shopper engagement.
the experience
- Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of fmcg sales or key account management experience. Beauty industry experience managing skincare, cosmetics, or personal care products is highly desirable.
- Strong track record and relationship ownership with Watsons as a key account within modern trade health & beauty retail channels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , paired with an independent and strong drive to achieve goals.
