To dominate the traditional retail space, they are seeking an energetic and strategically-minded Regional Sales Manager (Central) to spearhead their General Trade division for their ready-to-drink (RTD) canned beverages and premium coffee powder portfolios.

Based in Central Malaysia, you will drive the commercial distribution strategy across traditional trade channels. You will be responsible for building a robust distribution network, managing distributor performance and ensuring maximum product availability and visibility in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Strategy & Expansion: Map out, execute, and scale the General Trade (GT) distribution strategy across the Central region to maximize market penetration
- Distributor Management: Manage, evaluate, and collaborate with third-party distributors and wholesalers to ensure optimum route-to-market execution, stock availability, and service levels.
- Sales & Volume Growth: Drive sales targets, listing volumes, and market share for the brand’s high-growth RTD canned beverages and coffee powder lines.
- Trade Marketing & Execution: Work closely with the marketing team to execute impactful trade promos, display programs, and point-of-sale (POSM) visibility at the store level.
- Commercial Negotiation: Handle commercial terms, pricing structures, and trading terms with key wholesalers and regional retail accounts.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and track the performance of a regional sales team/merchandisers to ensure high execution standards.
requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of solid FMCG sales and marketing experience, ideally gained within a top-tier MNC or a distributor environment managing MNC principles.
- Proven track record in Distributor Management and handling General Trade or Local Key Accounts (LKA).
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage distributors and execute commercial plans.
- Highly driven, result-oriented, and commercially aggressive with a strong motivation to succeed.
