Key Responsibilities:
A. Financial Reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and related schedules.
- Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, addressing any discrepancies.
- Manage prepayment schedules and journal vouchers.
- Monitor receivables and payables.
- Keep the fixed assets register up to date and ensure accurate depreciation.
- Ensure full compliance with internal control framework.
B. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
- Conduct thorough business analyses and provide performance insights.
- Assist in preparing periodic performance reports.
- Address ad-hoc reporting requirements.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Support annual audits and tax submissions.
C. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
- Perform bank and cash flow projections.
- Conduct financial analyses as needed.
- Hold regular stand-up meetings for progress updates.
D. Banking & Treasury
- Monitor bank covenants and ensure compliance.
- Handle various banking administrative tasks.
- Renew bank guarantees and monitor loan repayments.
- Prepare weekly cash position summaries and forecasts.
E. Compliance
- Coordinate statutory audits and prepare financial statements.
- Manage tax matters, including filings and provisions.
- Monitor withholding tax submissions and payments.
- Assist in regulatory reporting for relevant authorities.
F. Ad hoc
- Support the implementation of E-invoicing.
- Assist with any additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
- Preferred background in audit.
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis.
