Designed for a proactive sales hunter, this role focuses on driving aggressive new market development across the entire Malaysian food manufacturing landscape. You will oversee critical commercial accounts, deliver strategic market trend analysis, and guide junior sales team members.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively hunt for new business opportunities and secure key accounts in the food and nutrition sectors nationwide.
Guide and mentor junior sales executives in executing daily sales activities and client strategies.
Conduct market trend analysis and manage supplier/customer quotation terms to optimize profit margins.
Oversee credit risk management, evaluate customer credibility, and ensure timely debt collection.
Engage key decision-makers and R&D teams through strategic technical consultations and client entertainment.
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience within the food and nutrition industry (specifically confectionery, bakery, or dairy).
- Strong "hunter" mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth and acquiring new accounts.
- High independence in managing customer inquiries, product claims, and commercial negotiation.
