This position will be reporting to the Group Finance Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of management reports and financial statements, including Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports.
- Managing system errors, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regional reporting guidelines, and ensuring adherence to company policies and controls.
- Duties include day-to-day accounting functions, monitoring cash flow, overseeing credit control, and managing fixed assets.
- Additionally, responsible for handling tax and audit queries, supervising a team of accounts and administrative staff, maintaining filing systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assists in implementing and enforcing system procedures and internal controls, performs office administration tasks, and handles ad-hoc duties as assigned by senior management.
requirements
- Minimum requirement is a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Fluency in Mandarin is preferred.
- Possesses strong communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills, with a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint is essential.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
