about the Role
While different companies may have specific requirements (We are looking forward to your application, and we can share further details about the specific job scopes with you!) , the basic requirements and expectations for a Quantity Surveyor generally revolve around these core areas:
- Cost Planning: Preparing estimates and conducting feasibility studies.
- Tender Management: Handling tender documents, evaluating bids, and drafting contracts.
- Financial Control: Managing payments, variations, claims, and reporting on project finances.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks.
- Final Account: Negotiating and agreeing on final project costs.
- Value Engineering: Finding cost-saving opportunities.
- Liaison: Communicating with all project stakeholders.
About the Team
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will work collaboratively with a team of Senior Contract Executives.
Skills & Experience Required:
- A Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a closely related field
- Experience in construction, consultancy, or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
