about the job
- Handling a full set of development/construction accounts and preparing a variety of financial/accounting reports promptly.
- Manage and control all bank-related transactions and accounting processes.
- Prepare monthly financial management reports to monitor, summarize and analyze project financial performance (including income statement, budget and forecast variance analysis, balance sheet and cash flow); initiate corrective actions and minimize the impact of variances.
- Assist with feasibility studies and prepare cash flow for financing.
- Proactively establish business processes and policies when necessary to improve operational efficiency and control.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, solicitors, bankers, company secretaries and other professionals to ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements.
about the manager/team
Reporting to the Finance Manager, he is a supportive person. The team works well together.
skills & experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. ACCA/CPA/CFA is an added advantage.
- Local Malaysian with a minimum of 5 years experience in the property development/construction industry.
- Have a high degree of integrity, meticulousness, analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of IFCA and SQL is an added advantage.
