About the Role
We are seeking a high-potential finance professional for a fast-tracked career development role as Assistant Manager – Financial Controlling. This role is part of a structured development path designed to groom future finance leaders within our organization. The selected candidate will undergo cross-functional exposure, mentoring, and leadership development with the intent to transition into management roles in the near future.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Affairs Compliance: Manage local trade affair compliance matters in line with regulatory and internal standards.
Financial & Management Accounting: Support end-to-end accounting processes, including preparation and analysis of financial statements and regulatory reports.
Financial Reporting & Controls: Oversee accurate and timely Group and Statutory reporting; ensure robust financial controls are in place and maintained.
Tax and Managerial Reporting: Assist in preparation and analysis of local and group tax reporting, ensuring alignment with corporate and legal requirements.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and policies; actively participate in audits and compliance checks.
Business Partnering: Support local management in the development of business plans, financial models, and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
Cross-functional Exposure: Gain experience through rotational opportunities across Finance, Legal, Operations, Commercial Controlling, and Pricing.
Project Participation: Contribute to strategic finance-related projects that drive business performance and transformation.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is an advantage.
3–5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, audit, or corporate finance (experience in MNCs or Big 4 firms preferred).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ambition to grow into a finance leadership role in the short-to-medium term.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A team player with high integrity, curiosity, and drive for excellence.
