about the job
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across sectors such as commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and retail.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand market share and revenue streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, such as property owners, building managers, company directors, and procurement heads.
- Understand client needs and position the company’s service offerings (e.g. cleaning, building maintenance, security, vending, energy management) as tailored solutions.
- Lead end-to-end business acquisition process, including pitching, proposal preparation, tender submission, contract negotiation, and handover to operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, procurement, marketing) to ensure alignment and delivery of client expectations.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the facility management landscape.
- Achieve sales targets and business KPIs set by management.
skills and experience required
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate Management, Facilities Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of business development or B2B sales experience, preferably in facility management, property services, or building solutions.
- Strong networking and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with corporate clients, building owners, real estate players, and key decision-makers.
- Proven track record in bringing in new clients and growing revenue.
- Knowledge of property or facilities management is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
