about the job
- Overseeing the Business Development and Strategy function with a focus on identifying multiple expansion opportunities for the group in new markets and asset classes within the real estate sector. This includes tasks such as exploring new business avenues, evaluating land development options, financial planning, formulating entry strategies, and collaborating with local landowners and development partners.
- Creating a strategic project pipeline, involving negotiations with the Board of Directors to secure approvals for new initiatives, and assembling and managing teams.
- Developing and implementing a sales action plan that aligns with the company's strategic goals, meeting sales targets, and taking proactive measures as necessary.
- Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company's portfolio and staying informed about competitor products and services.
- Executing strategic planning, assessing financial viability, obtaining approvals from internal stakeholders and the Risk Assessment Team, engaging in commercial negotiations with multiple parties, and overseeing the legal documentation process to minimise costs and expedite the acquisition process.

skills and requirements
- 8 years experience in real estate and/or Land Acquisitions with experience for industrial development.
- Leadership attributes through past experiences in managing teams or equivalent.
- Strong analytic skills.
- Demonstrated business development and marketing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of overall team structure
