- Analyze market trends and develop strategic plans to ensure the mall’s growth aligns with broader business objectives and market positioning.
- Oversee all aspects of mall operations, including leasing, tenant relations, marketing, financial performance (P&L), facilities management, operations, and customer service.
- Formulate and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term asset value.
- Drive occupancy growth and optimize rental income through proactive leasing strategies and targeted marketing campaigns.
- Ensure that marketing and promotional activities are aligned with consumer needs, market trends, and brand positioning to attract and retain footfall.
- Foster strong relationships with tenants, vendors, local authorities, and other key stakeholders to encourage collaboration and business growth.
- Lead budgeting and financial management, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and sustainable profitability.
skills and experience required
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mall leasing and/or marketing, with a strong emphasis on candidates who have demonstrated capabilities in both areas.
- The ideal candidate is looking to make a vertical move - stepping up from a specialized role (e.g., Leasing Manager) to take on broader responsibilities as a Centre Manager.
- Driven, ambitious, and assertive, with excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
