- Lead in strategizing and crafting key messages and narratives across diverse communication channels.
- Understand and manage client requirements to plan holistic communication strategies.
- Develop written content for various purposes including press releases, speeches, social media posts, and more.
- Assist in expanding the company's presence into new markets.
- Stay up to date to the latest news within relevant domains (Infrastructure, Public Affairs, Tourism, etc) in Malaysia and neighbouring ASEAN countries.
- Cultivate and enhance media relations by providing timely responses to media queries, drafting press releases, media invites and speeches, organising media briefings, facilitating media interviews etc.
- Curate compelling social media content tailored to engage the target audience effectively.
about you
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in Strategic Communications.
- Exposure to public sectors/public affairs/governmental communication strategy experience preferred
- Experience managing strategy for various mediums and channels, including mainstream media, social media, and websites
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage a wide spectrum of external and internal stakeholders, including government agencies and cross-functional teams
- Resourceful, meticulous, flexible, and thrives in a lean and impact-driven environment
- Driven to initiate and foster positive transformations within communities and across nations.
