Manager, Corporate Planning

As we continue our expansion and transformation journey, we are seeking a motivated and analytical Corporate Planning Manager to join our team in Johor to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and corporate growth efforts.
Role Summary:The Corporate Planning Manager will be responsible for supporting the development, execution, and monitoring of the Group’s strategic and business plans. The role involves working closely with various business units and senior management to deliver actionable insights, drive business performance reviews, and assist in corporate development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic and Business Planning:
Assist in the preparation and review of the Group’s annual strategic plans, business plans, and budgets.
Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitor benchmarking to support strategy formulation.
Support the evaluation of new business opportunities, partnerships, and investment initiatives.
Financial and Operational Analysis:
Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases, project feasibility studies, and strategic initiatives.
Track, analyze, and report on business performance versus strategic targets and budgets.
Provide financial and operational insights to management to aid decision-making and performance improvement.
Management Reporting:
Prepare management reports, board presentations, and business review materials.
Assist in the consolidation and analysis of financial and operational data from different business units.
Identify variances, risks, and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
Corporate Initiatives:
Support the execution of corporate exercises, such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and corporate restructuring initiatives.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external consultants where necessary for corporate strategy projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
5–8 years of experience in corporate planning, strategy, management consulting, or investment-related fields.
Strong financial analysis, modeling, and business research skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools.
Experience in property development, real estate, or large corporate environments will be an advantage.
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and structured in approach.
Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage and work effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
High level of integrity, accountability, and a results-driven mindset.
