key responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend services using Golang
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions
Implement data storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases
Monitor, debug, and improve application performance and reliability
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with team members
Stay up to date with the latest developments in backend and Golang ecosystems

requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Golang
Solid understanding of software engineering principles and backend architecture
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Proficient in working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)
Understanding of CI/CD workflows and Git-based version control
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and collaboration abilities

nice to haves:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
Experience with other programming languages i.e. Java or NodeJS
