About the Client
Our client, a prominent player in the F&B industry, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Supply Chain. This pivotal role is crucial for driving operational excellence, optimizing inventory, and upholding stringent standards within their supply chain, particularly for a central production kitchen and multiple retail outlets.
About the Role
- Lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including strategic planning, procurement, warehousing, and logistics.
- Develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives, including sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation for competitive advantage.
- Drive significant cost savings by identifying opportunities, mitigating price fluctuations, and championing tender processes.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels across all central kitchen, warehouse, and café outlets, implementing robust tracking and control protocols.
- Oversee the efficient logistics and distribution network, including route planning and cold chain management for timely deliveries.
- Ensure stringent quality assurance and compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, Halal) and manage non-conforming goods.
- Implement and enforce robust procurement systems and processes, maintaining data hygiene, approval workflows, and documentation.
- Lead, train, and develop a high-performing procurement and logistics team, setting KPIs and fostering continuous improvement.
- Manage annual procurement budgets, monitor spend against targets, and take corrective actions for cost control.
- Play a key role in the setup and optimization of the Central Production Kitchen, including establishing procurement, warehouse, and inventory systems, and production costing.
About the Team
Reporting to the Director of F&B , this role manages a team of 9-10 people. The incumbent will also oversee and lead a team of 11 personnel with 2 direct reports in procurement and warehouse operations.
