Randstad is partnering with a global leader in digital product engineering, specialized in outsourced product development and digital transformation. As they are expanding their operations in Malaysia, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Executive to join our dynamic team.
Job SummaryThe Finance Executive will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key ResponsibilitiesFull Set Accounting:
Manage and maintain accurate and complete financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
Prepare and process journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Oversee bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
Ensure proper recording of revenue and expenses.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
Prepare financial reports and analyses as required by management.
Compliance & Audit:
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.
Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Handle tax computations (e.g., corporate tax, SST if applicable) and ensure timely submission.
Cash Management:
Monitor cash flow and assist in cash flow forecasting.
Process payments to vendors and manage collection from customers.
System Management (SAP Focus):
Utilize and maintain the SAP financial system for all accounting processes.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within SAP.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related accounting issues as they arise.
Potentially assist in system enhancements or upgrades related to finance modules.
Other Duties:
Ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager/Head of Finance.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA) is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in full-set accounting, preferably within the services or IT industry.
Proven experience in handling month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Technical Skills:
Mandatory: Strong proficiency in accounting software.
Highly Preferred: Demonstrated hands-on experience with SAP financial modules (FI/CO).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
