about the job
- Conduct market research to understand demand, and develop a feasible leasing plan for retail spaces.
- Oversee the full leasing process, including planning, tenant sourcing, negotiations, administration, deal closure, and budget forecasting, with a focus on maximizing rental income, occupancy, and profitability by attracting desirable tenants (including long-term, short-term, specialty tenants, kiosks, and seasonal tenants).
- Source new tenants that align with the planned tenant mix, with a creative focus on introducing distinctive, high-quality brands, particularly non-mainstream retailers to elevate the hub’s market positioning.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, business partners, and tenants.
- Liaise with tenants and coordinate with internal teams, including Project, Fit-Out, Legal, Marketing, Facility Management, and Finance departments.
- Oversee lease agreement negotiations and execution, ensuring compliance with legal standards and protecting the landlord's interests.
skills and experience required
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in mall and/or commercial leasing, with a proven track record of securing tenants and increasing occupancy.
- A strong network with unique brands will be an added advantage.
- Driven, ambitious, and assertive character.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
