This position requires a Mechanical Engineer specializing in automation. This role focuses on developing innovative robotic solutions for electronics applications, collaborating with a team of engineers, and ensuring designs meet all relevant codes, standards, and contractual requirements. You will also manage supplier relationships for mechanical components and oversee their manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
key responsibilities
Robotic Solution Development: Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop new robotic solutions specifically for electronics applications.
Customer Requirement Analysis: Collect and analyze customer requirements to provide experienced and technical engineering solutions.
Technical Customer Relationship Management: Proactively develop and maintain customer relationships from a technical perspective.
Design & Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all design and engineering work adheres to applicable codes, standards, practices, and contractual requirements.
Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations to both customers and internal teams.
Project Documentation: Prepare all necessary documentation for production and delivery related to assigned projects.
Supplier Supervision: Supervise suppliers throughout the manufacturing, assembly, and testing phases of mechanical components.
requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial automation or mechanical engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working experience in white goods automation, particularly related to robotics.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in SolidWorks.
- Soft Skills: Possess good communication and teamwork skills, high flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure. Must be proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently, and preferably customer-oriented.
