As a Naval Architect, you will be an integral part of the project team, responsible for a wide range of activities, including:
Design and Analysis: Perform detailed naval architecture calculations and analyses for the FPSO, including hydrostatics, stability (intact and damaged), and mooring.
Structural Integrity: Conduct structural analyses of the hull, topside modules, and foundations to ensure compliance with industry standards and classification society rules.
Vessel Conversion: Provide technical expertise and support throughout the FPSO conversion process, from initial design and feasibility studies to shipyard execution and commissioning.
Mooring Systems: Participate in the design, analysis, and review of the FPSO's mooring system to ensure safe and reliable station-keeping.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all naval architecture and marine aspects of the project adhere to relevant international codes, standards (e.g., IMO, SOLAS), and classification society requirements (e.g., ABS, DNV).
Project Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines, including marine, structural, piping, and electrical, to ensure a fully integrated and optimized design.
Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical specifications, reports, and drawings related to naval architecture.
Site Support: Provide technical support and guidance during the construction, installation, and offshore phases of the project in Labuan.
Client and Vendor Liaison: Interface with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies on all naval architecture matters.
