about the job
1. Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, both locally and internationally.
- Request and analyze quotations, conduct supplier assessments, and maintain approved supplier lists.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and negotiate favorable terms.
2. Purchasing Operations
- Process Purchase Requisitions and convert them into Purchase Orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Monitor purchase order status and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
3. Cost Control & Negotiation
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing.
4. Inventory & Material Planning Support
- Collaborate with warehouse and planning teams to ensure optimum stock levels are maintained.
- Track and forecast procurement needs based on production plans or project requirements.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate procurement records including contracts, supplier communications, and purchase orders.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier delivery reliability.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and manage supply risks to prevent disruptions in the supply chain.
about the requirements
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing roles.
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
