About the Role:
... - Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable purchase terms and protect company interests
- Analyze and improve current purchasing activities and practices
- Plan material requirements and issue purchase orders
- Monitor inventory levels to meet targets and reduce obsolete stock
- Track production volume, customer demand, and purchasing trends
- Work with production planners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans
- Source and assess potential suppliers for inclusion in the Approved External Provider List
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
About the Team:
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Procurement Manager.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience
- Manufacturing industry background preferred
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
