About the Job
You will be responsible for the overall success of a construction project. This involves planning and scheduling to create and manage a detailed time line, while also anticipating and mitigating delays. They must oversee budget management, which includes tracking costs, handling change orders, and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.
You will also be also in charge of technical and quality control, ensuring all work meets standards by reviewing plans, specifications, and conducting site inspections. Team and stakeholder communication is crucial for coordinating with on-site staff, clients, architects, and subcontractors. Finally, they are responsible for risk and safety management, identifying potential issues, developing safety plans, and ensuring compliance to prevent accidents.
Requirements
- Possess at least a Diploma in (Civil Engineering /Structural/Building Construction) or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of working experience in construction management for project engineer
- 6-8 years of working experience in construction management for project manager
- Knowledge of Civil / Structural & Building Construction
- Working experience in landed housing construction projects
