• build and support custom web scrapers using Python, Selenium, and HTTP-based APIs.
• design and optimize automated scripts to perform ETL from complex web pages and APIs sources
• implement secure access methods such as session tokens, headers, and cookie handling for protected endpoints
• troubleshoot scraping issues such as captchas, dynamic content, and inconsistent data
• create reusable automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and scalability
• implement reliable error handling, logging, and monitoring for long-running scripts
• collaborate with developers and analysts to feed extracted data into internal platforms or databases

knowledge, skills and experience

• experienced in Python development with a focus on Selenium and API-driven data collection
• well-versed in Python and commonly used libraries such as requests, beautifulsoup4, lxml, and pandas
• proficient in using Selenium WebDriver, including managing dynamic elements, wait conditions, and headless execution
• solid grasp of REST APIs concepts including authentication methods, pagination handling, and rate limiting
• familiarity with browser debugging tools, HTTP request inspection, and scraping anti-bot strategies.
