- Drives the implementation and maintenance of the site's Quality Management System, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and regulatory compliance.
- Defines, evaluates, and enhances quality control measures across the entire production cycle, from raw material intake to finished product release.
- Oversees inspection protocols for incoming raw and packaging materials, ensuring that all quality checks are accurately executed and documented.
- Develops and facilitates training programs for quality personnel and production staff, ensuring consistent understanding and application of quality standards.
- Monitors and controls laboratory operating costs, identifying and executing cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high analytical standards.
- Ensures the laboratory is fully operational, with appropriate equipment availability, maintenance, and calibration to support reliable testing.
- Leads and develops the quality team, providing clear guidance, performance feedback, and ongoing development to meet departmental goals and KPIs.
- Promotes a culture of quality and continuous improvement, actively reviewing systems and processes to drive efficiency, compliance, and product excellence.
the experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing industry; experience in chocolate manufacturing is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders or management when necessary.
- Experienced in people management and team leadership, with a focus on performance, collaboration, and accountability.
