We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Account Executive to support the finance and accounting operations of our public-listed EPCC business. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling full sets of accounts, ensuring timely month-end closing, and supporting audit and tax matters. This role is key to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting compliance in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting
Manage full set of accounts, including GL, AR, AP, and fixed assets.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, account schedules, and reconciliations.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
Project & Cost Accounting Support
Assist in project accounting, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and margin reporting.
Coordinate with project teams on progress billings, cost updates, and project profitability tracking.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Assist with the preparation of tax submissions (corporate tax, SST) and liaise with tax agents as required.
Support statutory audit and liaise with external auditors by preparing required audit schedules.
Ensure all financial reporting complies with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Cash Flow & Treasury Support
Assist in cash flow monitoring and reporting.
Support payment processing, bank reconciliations, and banking documentation.
Process Improvement & Internal Controls
Job Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a public-listed or EPCC / construction company.
Knowledge of project-based accounting is an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SQL, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Familiarity with MFRS and local tax/SST regulations.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Mandarin is preferrable
